|Post subject:||Dyanamic IPs|
Hi, I am writing to get some clarity about dyanamic IPs. My service provider is same and i have dyanamic IP. Ideally, I would think, even if my IP changes my Geo location should not. But i recently performed at test and found that my Geo location varies widely when my IP changes. Can you please provide some idea as to why this might be happening.
Looking forward to hear from you.

Service providers are allocated with a pool IP addresses, and they serve multiple regions. When a user resets a gateway, the ISP assigns an IP address allocated within the pool. Since an ISP serves multiple regions, it is quiet possible anyone can grab any IPs within the IP pool. Depending on how ISP has configured the DHCP to dynamically assign an IP to the users, the location may vary significantly.
